I got this link on the Drudge Report.  Being Penny Pincher, I had to link to it. Apparently it was his last scheduled payment and not some kind of lump sum payoff.  But still that's FUNNY!

But, did he know that the copper in a pre-1982 penny is worth more than a penny?

Of course, sorting the pennies takes time, and time is money.  That is why I save nickels.  I know, I should rename my blog Nickel Pincher.  Inflation, you know.  I think when they debase the nickels they will use steel, so a magnet ought to sort them out.  I hope I'm right.
