I just found this article (about a week too late for the 4th, oh well) on the high personal cost to each signer of the Declaration of Independence. Most if not all of them lost their family fortunes. A few of them lost their families, their children scattered in the chaos after them getting busted by the British. Some were tortured in prison by the British. Several had their homes burned down. Many of them died within 5 years of signing, their health ruined by prison or by fleeing to the woods and living in caves.
Here's the article http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/history/signers-cost.htm
This is quite sobering. Makes me think of the huge sacrifice made to have freedom in this country. And yet there are people who would scrap the Constitution. Don't let them restructure this country to lose its sovereignty to the UN, or to do away with our founding documents. It's too precious. Fight against any effort to do away with the Constitution, in particular. This document is all about your rights.

And what should people do to restore the constitution? Our only hope is to elect Ron Paul but if that does happen there is a risk he will be assassinated.
The tea party has been taking over by men that hate women and want to limit and control our freedom especially if we are childbearing age.
We would need to be a lot more organized about protecting the right to privacy educating people about their rights that police and cps need a warrant to search their homes and cars.
We would need to truly educate the masses. How do we do that when they are laughing at us and drinking the unicorn koolaid adopters are drinking?
I am all for our founding fathers but what we need is a big wake up what we need are judges that allow the law into the court rule not what they consider the law.
Who will sponsor events showing court cases where the defendent wins that the income tax is unconstitutional? How to assert your rights to refuse an unwarrented search and seizure?
How can we help? What can a 25 year old, an 18 year old, a 6 year old or 70 year old to do to help the movement?
A list of court cases where the def. won because tax is unconstitutional might be a real short one. Dunno. Do you know how to get one? I know people with access to Lexis-Nexis if that helps.
The Declaration of Independence has a thing in the middle about overthrowing an unjust government and starting again from scratch. Re-booting so to speak. The only way I see that happening would be if there is some kind of critical mass after a dollar crash. What may happen would be sort of like various countries in the early 1920's where there were the Reds (Commies), the Whites (who wanted the old regime back, usually monarchy, sometimes fascists), and those who wanted to get something moderate. I hope it doesn't get that drastic out there; basically that would be civil war.
The cops don't need a warrant in Indiana anymore to search a home http://www.newsmax.com/US/Indiana-FourthAmendment-search-warrant/2011/05/16/id/396570
I too struggle with the pro-choice thing, I'm pro-choice but it seems a lot of the constitutional fans out there aren't. All the more reason to learn herbal medicine etc.
